Fred got my old Hartke going again because my SVT is just too big to cart to hourly rehearsal spaces. Looking forward to a permanent Mink Valley home again one day, but that will have to wait until after the recording is finished!

2 members of Mink Valley used to play in a band called People Meat. You can listen to some People Meat classics over at CBC Radio 3, and some other’s at SoundCloud.
We are heading back in to the studio today to begin recording our next CD. We have new songs, new pedals, and a slightly different sound but we are still as minky as ever. Yippeee!
A picture from our jam space from last year. We’ve been there for more than 5 years and just recently moved out, which was sort of sad but also exciting because we’re moving into recording mode and will be in studios over the next few months. We have a deep valley of material and a slightly different sound – can’t wait!
The INFEST Music Compilation has just been released by Vents, a free online music and entertainment magazine.
“This is one of the best compilations you’ve ever heard in your entire past and future life.”

Tanya: It’s not really a prank but it was funny: we played a burlesque show and our drum kit was inside a big cardboard cake. It was someone’s birthday and frosting got all over the stage so we almost fell on our asses during our set.
Fred: Tasty times.
